Hello there!Â
I'm Jacob Zerykier (Zeh-Rih-Kher), but many call me Yaakov (Yaw-Cove). I'm a master's student and former undergrad at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, pursuing a 2-year, Master of Science (S.M.) in Mechanical Engineering (Course 2 in MIT speak).
At MIT, I've previously been a part of the Solar Electric Vehicle Team (SEVT), where we design, build, and race multi-occupant, solar-powered cars; as well and the Committee on Curricula (CoC), where I helped shape MIT's undergraduate subjects. I'm currently a researcher within the Precision Engineering Research Group (PERG) working on the design of planetary traction drives for ships. I'm also a Graduate Resident Advisor (GRA) in Random Hall.
On this website, you can view my formal resume, see some of the projects I've worked on, and get in touch with me.
